Married Life With Woody & Ellen is a personal work which in a form of a visual diary deals with the process of assimilation. The act of taking photographs becomes an anchoring point aimed at mediating the everydayness which nevertheless remains unmanageable and estranged. Rituals such as eating, sleeping, looking through the window or in the mirror are no longer effortless and unnoticeable. Instead, they expose the process of negotiating the identity as fractured and self-contradictory.
